Brews & Blankets benfiting CW Human Services' Adopt-A-Family Program

This event is open to non-members and members of our community.

The Canal Winchester Chamber is thrilled to join forces with Canal Winchester Human Services for a fun, unique networking happy hour--with a twist! Come on out for our "Brews & Blankets Challenge" at BrewDog DogTap Columbus on Thursday, December 7th from 3:30PM - 6:30PM to make fleece blankets for the CWHS Adopt-A-Family holiday program.

The Challenge--200 Blankets for CW Adopt-A-Family Program
The event is fun and simple-- you don't have to be crafty or know how to sew! Your $15 registration fee includes one blanket kit and supplies. Grab a drink and use the templates to create a beautiful fleece blanket for a family in need.

Additional blanket kits may be purchased if you'd like to make more than one. Donate or sponsor a blanket for CW Human Services' Adopt a Family program- all unfinished kits will be made on site the day of, and donated on your behalf. All blankets made will be donated to CWHS.

My Very Own Blanket, located out of Westerville is an organization dedicated to warming the heart of every child in the foster care system and other children in need with a blanket, to give them a feeling of comfort, security and most of all, a SMILE! Handmade blankets are created through the loving care of volunteers, and distributed to foster youth not just throughout Ohio, but all over the country.
