About Us

The Wagnalls Memorial is a nonprofit organization that provides cultural, educational, and community services through the Library, Community Theater, community rooms and scholarship program since 1925.
Our library is a full service library and a member of the Central Library Consortium serving central Ohio. Library cards from neighboring libraries can also be used at Wagnalls. The Wagnalls Memorial Library also offers many programs including story times, book clubs, and special events. The library is also a repository for local history and genealogy.
The scholarship program has given away millions of dollars in scholarships to Bloom Carroll and Canal Winchester Students since inception. The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation is always willing to discuss adding additional scholarship funds with legacy gifts from our community members.
The Wagnalls Memorial Community Theater and Foundation offer area cultural and artistic pursuits throughout the year, some are annual events.
The Wagnalls Memorial has several authentic, historic, and exceptional venues for weddings and celebrations. We also have rooms meetings and corporate events including large lecture and breakout rooms. The Wagnalls Memorial also has grounds that are tended by Master Gardner volunteers. Truly a beautiful place for any celebration or retreat!
