Running Scared 5K 2021

Enjoy the fall season by joining the Canal Winchester Chamber for the 5th Annual Running Scared 5K and 1-Mile Family Run/Walk.

Grab your costumes and get moving for the best event of the season. We'll have an awesome long-sleeve shirt (guaranteed to registrants signed up by September 17), race bib, and medal for all registrants in both events. This year we have options of a live/in-person event (on October 30th at Hanner's Park) or a virtual event run on your own and open from Oct 30th through November 6th.

We will again have a downloadable playlist and a stretch clinic. Virtual participants can pick their favorite route. Virtual runners can upload their times during the event window and compare them to other racers, while in-person participants will be electronically chip-timed.

We are awarding prizes to the best costumes again. Costume prizes will be awarded to:

• Adults: funniest, scariest, and best team costumes
• Under 16: funniest, scariest, and most popular on Facebook

Note: for the virtual participants we've provided our normal race route for your reference, but you can also run/walk your own 5k or 1M path.
