Ribbon Cutting - Canal Winchester Local Schools

Canal Winchester Schools invites community members to celebrate the future of early childhood education at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new addition at Indian Trail Elementary.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, at Indian Trail Elementary. The $14.3 million addition will add 18 new classrooms to Indian Trail Elementary, allowing the school to offer all-day kindergarten to all students beginning this fall. It also provides space to move preschool classrooms to Indian Trail Elementary, creating a center for early childhood education for preschool through 2nd grade in the building. Previously, preschool was located at Winchester Trail Elementary, where students in third through fifth grade attend.
